Every journey starts long before the engine turns over. This blog is where our family will document the planning, learning, mistakes, and small victories that go into preparing for a road trip around North America.
This first post is simple by design — a marker that says we’re starting. Over the coming weeks and months, this space will grow to include route planning, vehicle prep, packing lists, budgeting lessons, and what it’s like getting ready to travel together as a family.
We don’t have all the answers yet. What we do have is curiosity, a rough plan, and a shared desire to slow down and see more of the world — one road, campground, and coffee stop at a time.
